WELCOME!

You want to understand more about yourself and the struggles interfering with having the life you desire. You are feeling overwhelmed by stress and anxiety, looking for guidance to provide relief. You're tired of managing this on your own, or with support that hasn't been quite the right fit for your needs. My goal is to partner with you in order to understand and manage your anxiety, stress, insomnia, sleep anxiety, relationship stress, mood changes (or all of these), so that you can thrive.  My belief is that healing starts as soon as you have the opportunity to tell your story and be truly heard.

Let's take proactive steps together towards positive change.

All sessions are currently via secure video platform.. This means starting therapy right now is very easy and convenient. I invite you to schedule an initial consultation to discuss your goals, my approach, and see if working together feels like a good fit. I’m excited to connect with you!

I have a holistic perspective regarding health care, taking into consideration the overall, long-term well-being of individuals and their relationships.

Training & Experience

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication. After several years of working in a very different career, I returned to school to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselor Education/Mental Health Counseling. I originally started this journey in Florida, but moved to California in 2010 and I am licensed to practice in the state of California. I have extensive experience working in various treatment settings, including both residential and outpatient programs. This has allowed me to develop a broad range of experience in the mental health field, collaborating with clients to assess clinical needs and plan a course of treatment that is most aligned with current goals. My clinical experience has also included a position as Director of Admissions for several years at a holistic-based residential facility, and Program Director for over three years at an integrative outpatient center. In these various roles, I provided therapy services to patients and families, and also supervised other clinicians treating patients with severe mental health and addiction issues.
