My Focus & Approach

I work with people who are capable, driven, and often carrying a lot internally. Anxiety can show up alongside disrupted sleep, health worries, difficulty slowing down, or relationship strain. Underneath these concerns, I frequently see patterns of perfectionism, high self-pressure, and taking on more responsibility than feels sustainable.

Therapy focuses on building insight and creating change—so you’re not just understanding your patterns, but learning how to step out of them in ways that actually hold up in daily life.

Areas I Specialize In

My approach is collaborative, structured, and transparent. We work to understand what’s happening, reduce reactivity, and build skills that support steadier emotions, better sleep, and healthier relationships.

Working With High-Achievers and Perfectionism

Many of the clients I work with are motivated, capable, and used to functioning at a high level. While these traits are often strengths, they can also contribute to anxiety, insomnia, and difficulty resting or feeling satisfied over time.

In therapy, we look at how these patterns formed, what keeps them going, and how to make changes that support your well-being without sacrificing what matters to you.

What Therapy With Me Is Like

My style is warm, thoughtful, and direct. Therapy is not just a place to vent—it’s a space to reflect, experiment, and make meaningful shifts.

  • A collaborative, relationship-centered approach

  • Practical, skills-based work grounded in evidence

  • Ongoing check-ins to make sure therapy is actually helping

  • Openness to adjusting our approach if something isn’t working

Getting Started

Finding the right therapist matters. A brief consultation is a good place to ask questions, clarify goals, and determine whether this approach feels like a fit.

Training & Experience

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California (CA LMFT #82931) with formal training in mental health counseling and psychology. My clinical background includes work across residential and outpatient treatment settings, supporting individuals and families with complex mental health concerns.

Earlier in my career, I held leadership roles including Director of Admissions at a holistic residential program and Program Director at an integrative outpatient center, where I provided therapy services and supervised other clinicians. These experiences shaped my thoughtful, systems-informed approach and continue to inform how I assess needs, collaborate on treatment goals, and support sustainable change.
